Things to Do

Farm Lodge can be found towards the centre of the island. Therefore, unlike Jamestown its location is ideally situated for island exploration .

Attractions local to Farm Lodge include Rosemary Plain which is a picnic area, Plantation House (the Governor’s residence and home to Jonathan – thought to be the world’s oldest living animal); Mackintosh’s walk which begins and ends at Clifford’s and Benjamin’s Arboretum; Lemon Valley (which descends 1,500 to the ocean) and High Knoll Fort; once the island’s citadel – which has panoramic views of the island.

For more information on what to see and do on the island, visit the St Helena Tourism website.
