*Minimum 2 Night Stay* Farm Lodge is a working farm which boasts 47 sheep which are a cross between Sussex, Texel and Marino. We are currently in our 5th year of introducing a Dorper ram to obtain a better pedigree. Sussex, Texel and Marino are all wool sheep. Therefore, we currently have to sheer them twice a year due to our sub-tropical climate. Introducing the Dorper ram (which is a cross between a Dorset and a Persian) should produce future generations which grow hair instead of wool. This will molt, which will remove the need for shearing.

Our laying hens are Lohmann Browns of which we have 40.

Our bee population can be anywhere between 6,000 and 15,000 insects across 3 hives which can produce 66 lbs of honey twice per year.
